Stage-1

Part-A

• No Negative Marking
• No minimum Qualifying Marks

Part-B

• No Negative Marking
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 25 marks out of 50 marks
• Minimum Speed: 25 words per minute in English typing on the computer

Note: Part ‘A’ & Part ‘B’ of the Stage-I Examination shall be conducted in SINGLE SHIFT. There shall be a gap of 15 minutes in each part of the Stage-I of the Examination.

Stage-2

• Total Marks (Stage I and Stage II) – 450 marks
• No Negative Marking
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 66 marks out of 200 marks i.e. 33% Marks Out Of 200 Marks

• Knowledge of General English and General Hindi of Graduation level,
• Elementary Knowledge of computers.

Part B: Computer Knowledge Test

FOR REVIEW OFFICER (HINDI)

A copy of text (approximately 500 words) in ENGLISH will be given to the Candidates for reproducing the same on the computer in the same format within 20 minutes.

FOR REVIEW OFFICER (URDU)

A copy of text (approximately 500 words) in ENGLISH will be given to the Candidates for reproducing the same on the computer in the same format within 20 minutes

Stage-II:

FOR REVIEW OFFICER (HINDI):

Part-1: Translation from English to Hindi

• Translation from English to Hindi of an extract from a judgment, pleadings, evidence and Government Resolutions
• Translation from English to Hindi of a section or some sections of an Acts or Rules
• Explanation of Common expressions, cliches etc. which might be met with in either of above legal terms and maxims

Part-2: Translation from Hindi to English

• Translation from Hindi to English of an extract from a judgment, pleadings, evidence and Government Resolutions
• Translation from Hindi to English of a section or some sections of an Acts or Rules
• Explanation of Common expressions, cliches etc. which might be
  met with in either of above legal terms and maxims

FOR REVIEW OFFICER (URDU)

Part-1: Translation from English to Urdu

• Translation from English to Urdu of an extract from a judgment, pleadings, evidence and Government Resolutions
